Gregory Construction, a Christian-principled, award-winning heavy civil contractor, is seeking a skilled CAD Technician to join our project support team. In this role, you’ll be responsible for producing accurate technical drawings and 3D models that support our heavy civil and mission-critical infrastructure projects. We’re looking for a detail-oriented professional who excels in drafting, design integration, and collaborating with field and engineering teams to deliver precise plans.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create, update, and manage detailed construction drawings using AutoCAD Civil 3D.

  • Develop and maintain 3D models and point data to support site surveying and construction layout.

  • Collaborate with surveyors, engineers, and project managers to ensure design accuracy and constructability.

  • Assist in integrating GPS Machine Control data into CAD models.

  • Support field teams by providing technical drawings and revisions as needed.

  • Maintain organized CAD files and ensure all documentation complies with company and project standards.

Required Qualifications:

  • Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D and other CAD software.

  • Experience working in heavy civil or construction-related environments preferred.

  • Strong understanding of civil design principles and construction processes.

  • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.

  • Reliable transportation for occasional travel to job sites.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with GPS Machine Control systems and data integration.

  • Familiarity with Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC) or similar construction management software.

  • Basic knowledge of survey data and field procedures.
